Ebola Eye

This is an illustration of different effects of Ebola virus disease observed in the eye of a patient at Emory University following the West African Ebola Outbreak in 2014. Months after the patient seemingly recovered from all symptoms of the virus, the blue-eyed patient presented with a green iris and multiple other signs and symptoms of the disease contained in the eye. This effect of Ebola Virus Disease had not been documented before. ©2015 EmoryUniversity
